For the second time in a month, Abbotsford Police say they have raided a home believed to be a supply house for mobile drug operations. Shortly after midnight on Wednesday. Abbotsford Police drug squad members executed a search warrant on a suite in an apartment building in the 32,100-block of Mt. Waddington Avenue. "In addition to drug paraphernalia, the search revealed $25,000 cash, 230 grams of marijuana, 60 grams of crack cocaine, and 40 grams of powder cocaine," said Const. Casey Vinet."The estimated street value of the drugs was $10,000. A .45 calibre handgun with 350 rounds of ammunition was also seized." "Our experience tells us that these types of operations are linked to gang and organized crime activity," he said. Abbotsford police arrested a 24-year-old man, who is known to them, at the scene. Steven Paul is charged with three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and one weapons offence. Last month, police executed search warrants at three Abbotsford properties believed to be supply centres for a substantial amount of drugs reaching Abbotsford streets through mobile drug operations. A number of people have been charged in connection with that case
